The Municipality of Girne announced that the water quality at city beaches is classified as “excellent”.
The Municipality of Girne stated that the sea water quality measurements at the Kervansaray and Karaoğlanoğlu (Antis) public beaches fall under the “excellent” category.
The municipality shared with the public the results of the sea water analyses conducted on municipal beaches in July.
The analysis results are as follows:
Kervansaray Beach:
- North open area: E.coli: 0, Enterococcus:
- Merit side: E.coli: 0, Enterococcus: 5
- South beach: E.coli: 0, Enterococcus: 0
- Yeni beach: E.coli: 4, Enterococcus: 0
- Karaoğlanoğlu (Antis) Beach:
- East: E.coli: 0, Enterococcus: 0
- West: E.coli: 3, Enterococcus: 0
