Municipality carries out large-scale disinfection to protect the population
In order to protect public health, municipal services promptly began work in areas that had previously been flooded. Mayor Hüseyin Amcaoğlu stated that cleaning, disinfection and sanitary treatment measures were immediately launched in the affected districts.
In residential buildings, surface treatment was carried out using certified disinfectants. In gardens and on sidewalks, a spraying method was used for comprehensive disinfection of the areas.
As part of preventive measures, water samples were taken and sent for analysis to the state laboratory. According to the results of the tests, no adverse factors posing a health threat were identified.
Hüseyin Amcaoğlu emphasized that the work is continuing throughout the city without interruption and assured that the municipality remains by residents’ side under all circumstances.
