Blood donation drive "One drop — one life" to be held at Ercan on April 7–8

T&T Airport Management, in collaboration with Kaner Duty-Free and the Northern Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent, is organizing a blood donation campaign in Northern Cyprus under the slogan "One drop of blood — one life of hope." The drive will take place on April 7 and 8 from 10:00 to 17:00 at Ercan Airport, in the departure area next to the information desk.

The General Manager of T&T, M. Serhat Özçelik, noted that the initiative's goal is to raise awareness about the acute need for blood and involve airport staff, services, and citizens. He reminded that regular blood donation is a critical responsibility: one unit of donated blood can save several lives. Representatives of civil aviation, police, airlines, and other airport services are also participating in the organization, and their support is considered vital for the campaign's success.

Practical information for potential donors: age 18–65, weight over 50 kg; men can donate every 3 months, women every 4 months; no surgeries, tattoos, piercings, or acupuncture in the past year; no infectious diseases (Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, syphilis, HIV, etc.); do not consume alcohol 18–20 hours before donation and feel well.

The organizers call on residents and guests of Northern Cyprus to support the drive and thus contribute to replenishing blood supplies.
