BMW Burns on Main Nicosia – Kyrenia Road
This morning in Northern Cyprus, another vehicle fire occurred on the main Nicosia – Kyrenia highway, involving a BMW SUV.
According to the police press service, the fire broke out in the morning as the car was traveling through the Tsiklos area. Footage from the scene shows flames engulfing a BMW X5 E53.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a short circuit in the engine's electrical system. The fire brigade managed to extinguish the flames.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident. However, the vehicle suffered significant damage.
It’s important to note that this is not the first fire involving German cars in recent days. Last week, another car burned in Alassa, also without casualties, though the owner incurred material losses.
