Victory Day Race at Alayköy Racetrack
The Alayköy racetrack will host a Victory Day race on Saturday, August 31, starting at 6:00 PM.
The first race of the day, organized by the Turkish Cypriot Racing Association, will cover a distance of 1000 meters and is supported by "Akdogdu Yemleri."
The second race, also 1000 meters long, will be held in memory of Mahmut Öztürk, a member of the association who tragically passed away in a traffic accident.
The main event, the Victory Day Cup, will be a 2400-meter race.
Public races will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The association invites all horse enthusiasts to join the event at the Alayköy racetrack.
Victory Day is celebrated in the TRNC on August 30, with festivities happening across Northern Cyprus.
