Dust from North Africa to persist in the air in Northern Cyprus until Friday
The Meteorological Service has warned that dusty conditions caused by the transport of dust particles from North Africa will persist. According to the agency, elevated dust levels in the atmosphere are expected to continue at least until Friday.
The statement notes that dust masses continue to ухудшать air quality. In this regard, citizens who are particularly sensitive to dust — people with respiratory diseases, allergies, asthma, as well as the elderly — are advised to take precautions.
The Meteorological Service recommends limiting time outdoors where possible, keeping windows closed, and closely monitoring well-being until weather conditions improve.
