At the Esentepe cemetery, two bodies found on the beaches were buried
Two bodies washed ashore on Chatalköy beach were buried at the Esentepe cemetery yesterday. This was reported by the mayor of the municipality, Jayhun Kyrok.
Making a statement on his social media account, the mayor stated that the two lifeless bodies, washed ashore on Chatalköy beach on January 30-31, were buried at the Esentepe cemetery, and he wished mercy upon the deceased.
"We leave this post as a note in history. Today, we witness the ongoing shame of humanity in the world. In a world where there are no winners in wars, and innocent people always become the losers, we buried two bodies washed ashore on our coast at the Esentepe cemetery. May God have mercy on these brothers and sisters, whose names we do not even know. We leave this note here in case someone ever looks for the whereabouts of these missing persons," wrote the mayor of the municipality.
Recall that two decomposed bodies washed ashore from the sea were discovered on the coast in Chatalköy on January 30 and 31. Both bodies belonged to men, and both had suffered serious injuries. The identities of the deceased were never established.
