Artillery firing exercises will commence at the Beykoy firing range
The Nicosia District Administration announced that artillery and mortar shelling will be conducted at the Beykoy firing range from March 4 to March 22. It will be dangerous to be in the specified area during the exercises.
The statement mentions that artillery and mortar firing exercises at the Beykoy firing range will be conducted by the command of the 39th Mechanized Infantry Division, 39th Artillery Regiment (Tyurkeli) of the Turkish Land Forces Command.
Firing will take place daily from 08:00 to 17:00. It is emphasized that the region is declared a restricted area during the specified dates and times.
Recall that earlier, the administration of the Güzelyurt Municipality reported exercises at the Chamurova air defense firing range. Entry into the firing area will be prohibited for four days - from March 4 to March 8, daily from 08:00 to 18:00.
