Artillery Drills to Take Place at Chamurova Range Near Güzelyurt
Artillery drills are scheduled to take place at the Chamurova range near Güzelyurt from March 24 to 28. Access to the area will be restricted for the duration of the exercises, which will last for five days.
According to a statement from the Güzelyurt District Governor's press office, tank artillery firing will occur daily from 07:30 to 18:00.
During the drills, the area will be designated as a restricted zone. Following the exercises, there will be a search for and destruction of unexploded shells. For safety reasons, it is strongly advised to avoid the area until further notice.
The last drills at the Chamurova range took place from February 17 to 21.
