Establishments Can Play Music During Ramadan Bairam Without Additional Permits
Northern Cyprus authorities have announced that previously issued music broadcasting permits will remain valid throughout the Ramadan Bairam holiday.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, establishments that already hold a valid permit will be able to play music from March 19 to 22 without needing to obtain additional approval.
It is emphasized, however, that businesses are strictly required to comply with the conditions specified in their permit.
The ministry reminded that establishments must possess a valid, non-expired document issued by the Environmental Protection Department.
In cases where no permit exists or its conditions are violated, legal action will be taken against the owners.
