Cloudy weather with showers is expected to persist in Northern Cyprus on May 28
According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, the region is experiencing low pressure and cool, moist air in the upper atmosphere on Tuesday, May 28. Meteorologists predict cloudy skies with intermittent showers.
The air temperature is expected to remain within seasonal norms, ranging from 26 to 30°C in most areas. The highest amount of precipitation is anticipated in the vicinity of Kyrenia and Famagusta.
Winds will be northwesterly, moderate in strength, with occasional strong gusts. No storms are forecasted for today.
Two meteorological warnings are currently in effect for Northern Cyprus, indicating a high risk of wildfires and a moderate level of ultraviolet radiation.
It is advised not to stay under the sun for more than 20 minutes, particularly between 11:00 and 16:00, without taking necessary precautions.
