In Northern Cyprus, a tender has been announced for the construction of a new state laboratory
The Minister of Health of the TRNC, Hakan Dinçyürek, announced that in 2024, a tender will be held for the construction of a new state laboratory.
Once the laboratory building is completed, it will receive international accreditation. Certificates of compliance with safety standards will be issued for both food products entering the country and exported goods.
Speaking on the "Sabah Postası" program, the head of the Ministry of Health also made a series of statements about research conducted in the country in the field of healthcare. In particular, he noted that all necessary instruments and equipment have been procured for hospitals to provide better patient care.
According to the minister, some of the ongoing projects will be completed in 2024 and 2025.
In particular, the restructuring of services provided at the Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Nicosia will be completed in 2024, and the hospital in Kyrenia will be equipped with the latest technology.
