In Northern Cyprus, a storm warning has been issued for the weather on January 12
The TRNC Meteorology Department has declared a storm warning for January 12. Strong storm winds are expected on land and at sea.
The meteorological warning will be in effect today from 11:00 to 23:00. According to the notification, southwest wind gusts will intensify to storm level, reaching 7 points.
Overall, on Friday, January 12, the region continues to be influenced by low pressure and cool, humid air. Variable cloudiness and brief rain with thunderstorms are expected in Northern Cyprus.
The maximum air temperature will be 19°C, which is 2-4°C above the seasonal climatic norm.

- Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 19°C, Lapta – 18°C, Akdeniz - 18°C, Alevkaya - 14°C, Esentepe - 16°C.
- Western Coast: Lefke – 18°C, Guzelyurt - 19°C.
- Central Part: Nicosia - 18°C, Ercan - 19°C.
- Eastern Coast: Famagusta - 19°C, Iskele - 19°C.
- Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 18°C.
