Storm Warning Issued for Northern Cyprus: Weather Forecast for February 5
The TRNC Meteorology Department has issued a storm warning for Northern Cyprus on Wednesday, February 5. The region will be affected by low atmospheric pressure and cold, humid air, bringing strong winds, heavy rain, and thunderstorms.
Air temperatures have returned to seasonal averages, ranging between 13°C and 18°C across most of the country.
A northwesterly storm wind is expected to reach force 8 on the Beaufort scale. The weather alert will be in effect from 9:00 AM on February 5 until the end of February 6.

- Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 17°C, Lapta – 16°C, Akdeniz – 17°C, Alevkaya – 13°C, Esentepe – 16°C
- Western Coast: Lefke – 17°C, Güzelyurt – 18°C
- Central Region: Lefkoşa – 17°C, Ercan – 18°C
- Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 18°C, İskele – 18°C
- Karpas Peninsula: Yenierenköy – 17°C
