Applications open in Northern Cyprus for support payments for seedling purchases
The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources has announced the start of accepting applications for support payments for seedling invoices in Northern Cyprus. Applications are accepted from September 22 to October 3, inclusive.
The support applies to invoices for seedlings presented together with a receipt. Invoices submitted for reimbursement must have dates from September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2025.
Producers can submit documents to the relevant district agricultural offices within the specified period. For payments related to 2025, it is required to have a declaration in the General Agricultural Insurance Fund for vegetables (open and protected ground) under the same name.
The ministry’s announcement also stated that presenting a producer certificate is not mandatory when submitting an application. Residents engaged in agriculture are advised to prepare invoices and receipts and submit them within the specified period to claim compensation for seedling expenses.
