Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain Expected in Northern Cyprus from March 19 to 25
The Meteorological Service reports that rainy weather with thunderstorms is forecast for Northern Cyprus between March 19 and 25. Maximum air temperatures are expected to range between 17–20 degrees Celsius.
According to the official forecast, the wind will blow from the northeast during the first days of the period; in the following days, southern and western directions will prevail. Winds are assessed as being mostly of moderate strength, with localized gusts possible during precipitation.
The report notes that the region will be under the influence of low pressure and an associated frontal system, which will cause prolonged precipitation on the specified dates.
