Localized showers expected in Northern Cyprus from Sunday to Tuesday

Meteorologists in Northern Cyprus report the passage of a cold and moist air mass: brief showers are expected in some areas on Sunday and Tuesday, according to the Meteorological Department. The forecast covers the period from April 25 to May 1 and details daily weather changes.

According to the forecast, tomorrow the weather will be partly to very cloudy, becoming less cloudy in some places later. Sunday is expected to start clear, but cloud cover will increase by midday with localized brief showers possible.

Monday is predicted to be partly cloudy and mostly clear. On Tuesday midday, variable cloudiness is also expected with localized rain showers. Between Wednesday and Friday, variable cloudiness will persist, with clouds decreasing in some areas at times.

Air temperatures will generally remain at the level of 25–28 °C, both inland and on the coast. Winds will generally blow from the south and west at moderate strength, occasionally strengthening in some areas.

Residents are advised to check their umbrellas in advance and prepare for possible precipitation, especially on Sunday and Tuesday.
