Student Bus Overturns in Northern Cyprus, Leaving Several Injured
A bus carrying students overturned in Northern Cyprus, leaving more than ten people injured, according to preliminary reports.
The accident took place around 1:00 PM on a secondary road east of the local high school, along the Yeni Erenköy–Dipkarpaz route. According to police, the bus veered off the road and flipped over.
Among those injured were the bus driver and ten students who were on board at the time of the crash.
Emergency services responded quickly, transporting all the injured to the emergency department of Famagusta State Hospital. Some were treated at the scene.
The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation, and police are continuing their inquiry.
