Ramadan Bayram Continues in Northern Cyprus: Services Operating in Enhanced Mode
The third day of Ramadan Bayram is taking place in Northern Cyprus. During these days, residents continue to visit relatives, congratulate loved ones, and visit the graves of family members.
Festive events are organized in various cities, including a holiday park for children opened in Lefkoşa.
Municipalities continue to work without interruption: garbage collection, water supply, sanitary, and social services are being carried out. Emergency services and the police have been switched to 24-hour operation mode.
The police urge citizens to observe safety measures, not to drive under the influence of alcohol, and to strictly follow traffic rules.
In the central prison, extended visits with relatives are permitted during the holiday days.
The holiday weekend this year will last three days, after which the normal working routine will resume from March 23rd.
