In Northern Cyprus, three meteorological warnings continue to be in effect: weather for April 3rd

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), on Wednesday, April 3rd, the region continues to be influenced by high pressure and warm humid air. Northern Cyprus maintains clear, slightly cloudy weather without precipitation, with dust in the air and high temperatures.

Today, thermometers will rise 6-8 degrees above the seasonal climatic norm. The maximum temperature in some areas will reach 32-33°C.

The wind is southwest, of moderate strength. No storms are expected in the region today.

Meanwhile, three emergency warnings from meteorologists continue to be in effect in the region. Dust from North Africa, which has arrived in TRNC, will persist in the air until the evening of April 4th.

Additionally, Northern Cyprus maintains a high level of ultraviolet radiation and the risk of forest fires.

Citizens are not recommended to stay under the sun for more than 20 minutes, especially from 11:00 to 16:00, without taking necessary precautions.

Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 25°C, Lapta – 23°C, Akdeniz - 27°C, Alefka - 26°C, Esentepe - 26°C.

Western Coast: Lefke – 27°C, Güzelyurt – 30°C.

Central Part: Nicosia – 33°C, Ercan – 33°C.

Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 27°C, İskele – 31°C.

Karpas: Yenierenköy – 26°C.
