Man Arrested at Ercan Airport Over 2018 Illegal Weapon Case
An investigation continues in Kyrenia into a case of illegal possession and transfer of a firearm dating back to 2018.
According to police, a follow-up investigation revealed that in 2017, in the Alsancak area, a 43-year-old man illegally possessed a 9mm pistol and an empty magazine, which he subsequently transferred to another individual.
The suspect was detained yesterday while attempting to enter the country through Ercan Airport.
The investigation is ongoing.
