Third stage of the drift championship to be held in Northern Cyprus
On August 9 and 10, 2025, the third stage of the Northern Cyprus Drift Championship — Drift NEU Kuzey Kıbrıs Drift Şampiyonası — will take place in Nicosia at the NEU Event Park, located next to the Near East University campus. A unique feature of this stage is that it will be held in the evening and at night, creating a vibrant motorsport atmosphere under the floodlights.
The competition promises to be one of the most spectacular stages of the season, attracting both professional drivers and motorsport enthusiasts. Participants and spectators can expect dynamic runs, screeching tires, clouds of smoke, and precise steering — everything that makes drift racing so thrilling.
Previous Drift NEU stages have brought together dozens of racers from various regions, including reigning champions and promising newcomers. The NEU Event Park track has long established itself as one of the best drift venues in the region, offering excellent conditions for both drivers and spectators.
Organizers anticipate a full house, so those wishing to attend are advised to purchase tickets in advance. The event will appeal not only to motorsport fans but also to families with children — there will be entertainment zones, food courts, and musical accompaniment.
Drift NEU continues to strengthen its position as the leading drift competition in Northern Cyprus, bringing together athletes, fans, and speed lovers in one vibrant event.
