Police Strengthen Security Measures for Ramadan Bayram
The General Directorate of Police has announced the introduction of increased security and traffic control measures for the Ramadan Bayram period.
The department reported that all emergency services, including lines 155 (Police), 156 (Narcotics), and 199 (Fire Department), will operate around the clock to respond promptly to citizens' calls.
Residents planning to leave their homes during the holidays are advised to take security precautions: check locks, alarms, and cameras, and turn off electrical appliances to reduce the risk of theft and fire.
Special attention is given to road safety. Drivers are urged not to exceed the speed limit, not to drive under the influence of alcohol, and not to use phones while driving. The necessity for all passengers to use seat belts was also reminded.
Police emphasized that following the rules will help avoid accidents and ensure a peaceful holiday celebration.
