"Down Syndrome Awareness March" to Take Place in Northern Cyprus Today

On March 20, the "Down Syndrome Awareness March" will take place in Northern Cyprus. The event is organized annually by the Turkish Municipality of Nicosia (LTB) under the slogan "Nicosia Understands +1 Difference."

This year, the march will be accompanied by a procession and various performances.

Participants of the march will gather at the old Pronto roundabout at 18:00 and proceed to Zahra Street accompanied by music. At the end of the route, a stage will be set up where representatives of special schools, LTB Ritm'orkestra, Gizem Akbil, Nafiz Dölek, and the children's choir of the Nicosia Municipal Orchestra will perform.
