REPUBLICAN RALLY OF CLASSIC CARS TOOK PLACE IN NORTHERN CYPRUS
Over the weekend, the Republican Rally of Classic Cars took place in Northern Cyprus. The races were part of the official festive events marking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
The competition lasted for two days. The main stage of the rally, organized by the Club of Classic and Sports Cars of Northern Cyprus, was inaugurated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu.
The race started with a slalom at the Cemsa karting complex and concluded at the Califorian restaurant on the premises of Maldives Homes in Esentepe. After a celebratory dinner, the winners were presented with awards and commemorative prizes.
This year, the event, held annually in November since 2011, saw the participation of 10 foreign teams and five crews from the Association of Turkish Cypriot Orthopedic Disabled."
