Heavy Rain and Storms Expected in Northern Cyprus
The Meteorological Department of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has issued an urgent weather warning as heavy rain, thunderstorms, and stormy winds approach the region. Residents are urged to take necessary precautions.
According to meteorologists, these adverse weather conditions are expected to last until noon tomorrow.
In certain areas, rainfall levels could reach 21-50 mm. Wind speeds may increase to 39-49 km/h, with gusts possibly reaching 62-74 km/h at times.
The public is advised to take precautionary measures against potential emergencies, including flooding, severe hail, and lightning strikes.
