Two Turkish Warships to Dock in Northern Cyprus for National Holiday
Two Turkish Navy warships are set to arrive in the ports of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on April 23 as part of celebrations for National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.
According to a statement from the Security Forces Command (GKK), the submarine TCG Burakreis (S-359) will be open to the public at the Kyrenia Tourist Port between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, and again from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on April 23. At the same time, the assault boat TCG Meltem (P-334) will be available for public visits at the Famagusta Commercial Port.
Further details about visiting procedures and safety regulations have not yet been announced.
The TRNC will mark National Sovereignty and Children’s Day with a series of festive events, including official ceremonies, exhibitions, competitions, and cultural performances throughout the country.
