Car Overturns on Famagusta–Karpaz Highway: Driver Injured
Today around 03:00, an overturning accident occurred on the Famagusta–Karpaz road in the Pamuklu area.
According to police information, 21-year-old Ahmet Gülay was driving a car with plate number NP 311 towards Karpaz. Near the Pamuklu junction, he lost control, hit an earth embankment on the left side of the road, after which the vehicle overturned and came to a stop on its wheels.
The driver sustained injuries and was taken to Gazimağusa State Hospital. He was discharged after receiving medical treatment.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
