Winners of the Nicosia Photomarathon Announced
The winners of the "Nicosia Photomarathon" in the TRNC have been announced. This year, 30 photographs from 17 photographers were selected to be showcased in the exhibition.
The third annual Photomarathon took place in Nicosia on September 7-8. A jury panel consisting of Mustafa Evirgen, Emel Samioğlu, and Ceyhan Özıyldız began evaluating the entries on September 12.
After careful consideration, Veysi Kanateş was awarded first place. Elena Christou secured both second and third places. This year, the "Süleyman Ergüçlü Special Award" was presented to Tevfik Ulualu.
The award ceremony and the opening of the exhibition, where the top works will be displayed, will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 19:00 at the Nicosia Central Exhibition Hall.
The competition was organized in collaboration with the Turkish Municipality of Nicosia (LTB) and the Yıltan Taşçı Academy.
