A dry week ahead: Weather in Northern Cyprus on September 9

According to the TRNC Meteorological Department, on Monday, September 9, the region will experience low atmospheric pressure combined with cool, moist air in the upper atmosphere. Meteorologists are predicting partly cloudy skies with no rainfall.

Temperatures are expected to rise 3-4°C above the seasonal norm. In most areas of the country, they will range between 32°C and 38°C. In Nicosia, Ercan, and Güzelyurt, the temperature will reach up to 38°C.

Moderate winds have shifted to the northeast.

Two warnings remain in effect for Northern Cyprus. The risk of wildfires continues to be high, and ultraviolet (UV) radiation levels are elevated. It is advised not to stay in direct sunlight for more than 15 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, unless you take necessary precautions.
