Results of the Kyrenia Half Marathon Announced

The annual Pasha Group Kyrenia Half Marathon 2024 took place in Kyrenia last weekend, with a total prize pool of 435,000 Turkish Lira.

The event was held on Sunday, September 22. The first race, covering 21 km, kicked off at 06:45, followed by a 7 km race at 07:00 and a public 3 km run at 10:45. All races attracted a large number of participants and were celebrated in a friendly, festive atmosphere.

This year marked the fifth edition of the Pasha Group Kyrenia Half Marathon, where a total prize pool of 435,000 TL was distributed.

In addition to the overall prize of 75,000 TL, this year 360,000 TL was allocated across nine different age categories for both men and women.

A special Adidas Kyrenia award was also introduced this year, honoring the top three finishers in both the women’s and men’s categories from the TRNC athletes.

It’s worth noting that all proceeds from this year's half marathon will be directed toward supporting the construction, maintenance, and repair of schools in the municipality of Kyrenia.

To ensure safety, ambulances and medical teams were on site throughout the marathon.
