Kib-Tek speeds up repairs in Teknecik after tornado hit power plant

The Cypriot electricity company KIB-TEK reported that urgent repair work has been launched at the Teknecik power plant following a tornado. Over the past 48 hours, specialists have assessed the damage and moved on to actively restore the damaged facilities to minimize electricity supply disruptions.
Kib-Tek crews are working both at the power plant and “in the field” — fixing network faults and trying to ensure as uninterrupted a power supply as possible despite challenging weather conditions. The company reminds residents that any outages or malfunctions can be reported to the call center at 6000960 — after receiving a signal, operational teams are dispatched to the site.
