The remains of the missing Turkish Cypriot will be laid to rest next Friday, December 1. The identification of the decomposed body was carried out by the Committee on Missing Persons (CMP), operating under the control of the two Cypriot communities.

Mustafa Muller Husayin was 27 years old when he disappeared without a trace in that year. He was married and had two children. On December 27, 1963, during the height of intercommunal disturbances on the island, he went to Larnaca for fuel, after which there was no information about him until recently.

His remains were found in a well in the village of Trullo in the buffer zone near Larnaca. Establishing the identity became possible through DNA tests.

The remains of Mustafa Muller Husayin will be buried at the Kanbulat Martyrs Cemetery in Famagusta on Friday at 10 am.
