The TRNC police caught 9 people without residency permits
Raids to identify individuals residing in the country without residency permits continue in Northern Cyprus. Last Wednesday, the police arrested another 9 people residing without legal status.
According to a statement from the police press service, as a result of checks conducted by the police on Wednesday, February 21, across the country, a total of 9 people who were residing in the country without residency permits and had no legal status were arrested. They were all arrested, and criminal cases were initiated against them.
The police do not disclose any further details about the detainees, including their nationality.
