Teenager Injured in Northern Cyprus Car Accident Dies in Hospital
A 19-year-old, Sabri Baykush, who sustained severe injuries in a car accident on the Haspolat-Tashkent road on November 13, has tragically passed away in the hospital. Despite being in intensive care, doctors were unable to save him.
According to a police press release, 19-year-old Mehmet Salih Ay was driving on the Haspolat-Tashkent road when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to skid and crash into an oncoming truck.
Sabri Baykush, a passenger in the car, was rushed to a hospital in Nicosia following the crash. Despite all efforts by medical staff, he succumbed to his injuries.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
