Fire in a residential building in Ozanköy
A fire broke out in the bedroom of a private house in the village of Ozanköy.
According to preliminary police data, the fire may have started due to a short circuit in charging devices connected to an extension cord lying on the bed. The fire quickly spread to the sleeping area and furniture.
Firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and extinguished the flames; however, household appliances, furniture, and electrical devices were destroyed in the room.
The police continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
