President Tufan Erhürman visited the Red Crescent iftar table organized at the Nicosia Terminal Center and shared dinner with the residents.
The iftar is held with the participation of the Turkish Cypriot Red Crescent and supported by the Turkish Red Crescent. During the visit, the President was accompanied by the President of the Turkish Cypriot Red Crescent, Sezai Sezen, and the head of the Turkish Red Crescent, Professor Fatma Meriç Yılmaz, who is currently visiting Northern Cyprus.

Under the program organized by the Turkish Cypriot Red Crescent with Turkish support, approximately 850 people receive iftar daily. The meals are prepared in the Turkish Red Crescent’s mobile kitchen truck in compliance with health and quality standards.
Furthermore, humanitarian aid efforts continue throughout Ramadan. Food packages, clothing, shoes, and other items are being delivered to those in need. Staff from the Turkish Cypriot Red Crescent, representatives from Turkish branches, and volunteers from Kıbrıs Genç Kızılay are participating in the distribution.
