TRNC President Shares Photo in the Iconic "Winner Jacket"
TRNC President Ersin Tatar recently posted a photo on social media of himself wearing a distinctive checkered blazer, known as the "Winner Jacket." This style of jacket is commonly worn by Turkish politicians.
The blue checkered blazer has become a symbol of victory for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. It is often referred to as the "Winner Jacket" by the public. Following Erdoğan, other prominent Turkish political figures, including CHP leader Özgür Özel and Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, have also been seen sporting similar blazers.
Now, Ersin Tatar, the leader of the Turkish Cypriots, has embraced the famous "winner jacket." His post featuring the stylish blue checkered blazer quickly garnered numerous likes.
According to local media, the price of the "Winner Jacket" worn by Erdoğan varies between 5,000 and 150,000 Turkish liras, depending on the brand. Designer and custom-made versions can be even more expensive.
