President Ersin Tatar of the TRNC has completed his engagements in Australia and returned to the island. Upon his return, the leader of Northern Cyprus held a press conference to summarize his trip.
At Ercan Airport, the president was welcomed by Zorlu Töre, the Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic, and Dursun Oğuz, the Minister of Internal Affairs.

He also addressed the unjust embargo imposed on Turkish Cypriots and outlined new policies.
Furthermore, President Tatar listed the names of all Turkish Cypriot officials living in Australia whom he managed to meet and shared details of his engagements in Melbourne, Canberra, and Sydney.
The President of the TRNC also extended his gratitude to Ufuk Gezer, the Ambassador of Australia to the Republic of Turkey, and Doğan F. İshik, the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Melbourne, for organizing the visit.
It's worth noting that President Ersin Tatar became the first leader of the TRNC to visit Australia.
