The President of the TRNC, Ersin Tatar, expressed condolences in connection with the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in the suburban town of Krasnogorsk. The head of Northern Cyprus sent a telegram of condolences to the families and loved ones of those who died as a result of the terrorist attack.

In his message, the President of the TRNC strongly condemned the terrorist act, which according to latest reports claimed the lives of more than 100 people.

“I strongly condemn the terrorist attack on the concert hall in Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation, which resulted in the deaths of dozens of innocent citizens and more than 100 people injured. I express my condolences to the Russian people and the government of Russia,” the message from the head of Northern Cyprus said.

The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in the suburban town of Krasnogorsk occurred late last night.

Around 8:00 PM, several people in camouflage opened fire with automatic rifles before the concert of the band “Picnic.” According to latest reports, the number of victims of the attack has risen to 143 people, including children among the deceased. More than 120 injured were hospitalized. After the shooting, several explosions occurred in the concert hall building, followed by a fire. The roof of the building collapsed almost entirely. The Investigative Committee of Russia has initiated a case of terrorism. The attackers managed to escape. However, this morning, several terrorists were detained not far from the border with Ukraine.
