The missing "fishermen" in Northern Cyprus illegally left the country
New details have emerged in the case of the search for missing fishermen in Northern Cyprus. The young men illegally departed the country and were under investigation for suspected human trafficking.
According to Kibrispostasi, during the investigation, it was determined that Sıtkı Akargöl and Emre Arslan, who went fishing at sea on May 10th and did not return, illegally left the country.
aa 25-year-old O.T., and a 44-year-old D.O. who assisted the suspects in leaving the country illegally.
It is worth noting that according to the newspaper "Yeniduzen," both missing individuals are under investigation for suspected "human trafficking."
Information obtained from sources in the Turkish police indicates that 35-year-old Emre Arslan is also a drug addict and arrived in Northern Cyprus from Ankara early in the morning on May 10th.
Recall that earlier it was reported that 25-year-old Sıtkı Akargöl and 35-year-old Emre Arslan left the fishing port "Kumyalı" on Friday, May 10th, around 3:00 PM. They set out to sea on a boat named "Eshilim" but never returned home that day.
Later, videos were published on social media showing the boat on which the missing men set out to sea.
