159 More Foreigners Approved to Buy Property in the TRNC
The TRNC Council of Ministers has granted permission for 159 more foreign nationals to purchase real estate. The decision was published in the Official Gazette.
According to the document:
"In accordance with Law No. 52/2008 on the Acquisition of Immovable Property and Long-Term Leasing (Foreigners), the Council of Ministers has approved property purchase permits for a total of 159 foreign citizens."
The approvals were granted on the condition that the properties in question are free of any encumbrances.
Notably, the document once again does not specify the nationalities of the approved buyers. In the past, similar publications typically detailed how many applicants were Turkish citizens and how many were from other countries.
This marks the second such approval in 2025. A similar decision in January allowed 145 foreign nationals to acquire property.
