The Turkish national karate team is preparing for the European Championship in Northern Cyprus
Today, the national team of the Turkish Karate Federation will arrive in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, where they will hold a training camp in preparation for the European Championship.
Turkish karate practitioners will be accommodated at the Girne Teachers' House. The preparation for the European championship itself will take place from March 22 to April 8.
The delegation, led by the president of the Turkish Karate Federation, Aslan Abid Uguz, includes 30 athletes, 6 members of the technical committee, as well as massage therapists and physiotherapists.
Aslan Abid Uguz, the President of the Turkish Karate Federation, noted in his statement that there are Olympic medalists in the group.
"Our goal is to prepare as best as possible in our second homeland, Cyprus, and win in the overall classification at the European Championship, which will take place in Croatia in May," said the coach of the Turkish karate practitioners.
