Part of Nicosia’s Northern Ring Road to Close for Drag Racing on May 25
On Sunday, May 25, a section of Nicosia’s Northern Ring Road will be closed to traffic for a drag racing event.
According to the police, the races will run from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM. During this period, the road segment between the Dikmen Yonda intersection and the industrial roundabout, as well as the Hamitköy roundabout, will be closed to vehicles in both directions.
The event is organized by the Northern Cyprus Drag Racing and Sports Car Association. While the races are happening, traffic will be redirected along alternative routes.
Drivers are encouraged to plan their journeys ahead of time, follow speed limits, and obey all road signs and instructions.
