Voter lists for the presidential elections will be posted on September 14
The Supreme Election Council (Yüksek Seçim Kurulu) announced that the voter lists by polling stations for the upcoming presidential elections will be posted on September 14, 2025, in Lefkoşa, Famagusta, Kyrenia, Güzelyurt, İskele, and Lefke.
The elections are scheduled for October 19, 2025. The official statement noted that the tables indicating the posting locations and distribution of polling stations will be read on Bayrak Radio (Bayrak Radyosu): for the districts of Lefkoşa and Famagusta — after the morning news at 08:00, and for the districts of Kyrenia, Güzelyurt, İskele, and Lefke — after the 13:30 broadcast.
The lists will be available online from September 14 to 20, 2025, on the website of the Supreme Election Council — https://ysk.gov.ct.tr and on the courts’ website — https://www.mahkemeler.net. During these seven days, the lists can be viewed daily from 09:00 to 18:30.
Objections and applications will be accepted within the specified seven-day period. On working days, submissions are accepted from 17:30 to 18:30; on other days — from 09:00 to 10:00 and from 17:30 to 18:30. Applications may be filed through authorized representatives at district election commissions or sent directly to the relevant district election commission.
According to the rules, applications must be accompanied by written evidence: for identity confirmation — an identity card or passport; for confirmation of permanent residence — a document from the muhtar bearing the signatures of the muhtar and two council of elders members, along with the muhtarlık seal.
