The temperature will rise to 36°C: Weather forecast for Northern Cyprus on May 22

According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, on Wednesday, May 22, the region will be influenced by low pressure and hot, humid air. Meteorologists predict partly cloudy weather with no precipitation.

The air temperature will rise by 4-6 degrees above the climatic norm. In most areas, it will range between 28 to 36°C.

The wind will be northwesterly and of moderate strength. No storms are expected today.

Three weather warnings are in effect for Northern Cyprus. The region faces a high risk of wildfires and a moderate level of ultraviolet radiation.

It is advised not to stay in the sun for more than 15 minutes, especially from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.

Additionally, there is dust in the atmosphere, which will persist until the end of the week.
