Cooler Temperatures and Strong Winds: Weather Forecast for Northern Cyprus on April 10

According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, Northern Cyprus will experience low atmospheric pressure and cool, humid air on Thursday, April 10.

Forecasters are predicting partly cloudy skies with no rainfall expected throughout the day. However, strong winds will intensify as the day goes on.

Temperatures are expected to drop 3 to 5°C below the seasonal average, with most areas seeing daytime highs between 17°C and 21°C. The warmest spots will be Güzelyurt, Geçitkale, and Famagusta.

A powerful southwesterly wind is forecast across the region, with gusts reaching up to 8 on the Beaufort scale (50–61 km/h).

The weather warning issued by the Meteorological Department will remain in effect until 7:00 PM today.
