Air Temperature Remains Within Normal Ranges: Weather in TRNC for August 8

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Thursday, August 8, the region will continue to experience low pressure and hot, humid air. Northern Cyprus will have clear to partly cloudy weather with no precipitation.

Air temperatures will stay within normal ranges. The hottest weather today is expected in Nicosia and Ercan, reaching up to 39°C, while the northern coast will see temperatures between 31-34°C.

Winds will be moderate from the southwest. No storms are expected today.

Two weather warnings remain in effect for Northern Cyprus. The risk of natural fires is very high.

The ultraviolet radiation level is also very high.

It is advised not to stay in the sun for more than 10 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.
