Air Temperature Returns to Seasonal Norms: Weather in TRNC for August 5
According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, on Monday, August 5, the region will continue to experience low pressure and hot, humid air. Meteorologists forecast clear to partly cloudy weather with no precipitation.
The air temperature has returned to seasonal norms. The hottest weather today is expected in Nicosia, reaching up to 39°C, while temperatures on the northern coast will range between 31-34°C.
The wind will be southwesterly, moderate in strength, with occasional strong gusts. No storms are expected today.
Two meteorological warnings remain in effect for Northern Cyprus. The risk of wildfires remains very high.
The level of ultraviolet radiation is also very high.
It is advised not to stay under the sun for more than 10 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking the necessary precautions.

- Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 34°C, Lapta – 31°C, Akdeniz – 33°C, Alevkaya – 34°C, Esentepe – 31°C
- Western Coast: Lefke – 37°C, Güzelyurt – 36°C
- Central Region: Nicosia – 39°C, Ercan – 38°C
- Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 35°C, Iskele – 37°C
- Karpas Peninsula: Yenierenkoy – 34°C
