Turkish authorities are conducting an investigation following the detention of two 15-year-old teenagers found with improvised explosive devices. During the investigation, information emerged about a possible assassination plot against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and an attack on the Turkish parliament.

The case is being handled by the police anti-terrorism unit. The teenagers were detained with homemade explosives, after which investigators began verifying information regarding the potential preparation of attacks.

As part of the same case, an 18-year-old suspect accused of transporting explosives was detained. The prosecutor's office requested his arrest, but the court released him under a travel ban.

According to the investigation, the incident may be linked to the activities of a radical nationalist group calling itself the "Turkist Movement." According to a detainee, the organization may consist of about 150 people, led by a 19-year-old individual.

Investigators are also checking information about possible plans to attack the parliament and a pro-Kurdish DEM party event in Istanbul.

Simultaneously, anti-terrorism units conducted large-scale searches in Antalya, checking dozens of homes connected to members of the movement.

Representatives of the organization deny any serious attack plan, claiming that the seized devices were primitive and similar to ordinary firecrackers.
